3-13-20 Update / COVID-19 Response
In light of North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper’s state of emergency declaration and recommendations regarding large gatherings, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel the in-person Swing Into Spring Arts Celebration + Fundraiser event scheduled for March 27. The health and safety of our staff, volunteers, artists and community are important to us. However, we are now moving forward with the entire auction component ONLINE! You can still participate in Swing Into Spring and support our annual fundraiser that is essential to sustaining our programs and operations this year. This event typically accounts for 25% of our revenue.
What do you do when you and the arts organization you love and support are facing a challenge? You get CREATIVE!
We are pivoting the event to be completely online. This should be FUN and NEW and we also have the opportunity to reach even MORE people than our in-person event can sustain, which will be FANTASTIC! Stay tuned for additional exciting details early next week as we quickly whip together a whole new kind of Swing Into Spring!
Our Swing Into Spring Committee, staff and volunteers have been working hard the last few months compiling some amazing packages and experiences for you to bid on at Swing Into Spring. And, last week we had over 70 generous artists donate some fabulous original artwork to our event’s silent auction, which are currently on view in SunTrust Gallery.
We greatly appreciate your understanding and your patience as we work through these changes. Your support and encouragement along the way will fill our hearts with joy.

We are currently working out updated ticket information, but for now we strongly encourage you to still chip in a $25 ticket (now all tax-deductible donations) or make a donation in ANY amount in support of our event.
Show your support for Durham's continuously blooming and vibrant arts scene. While DAG is centered here in Durham, we work with artists and residents from ALL over the Triangle area and surrounding region. Stay tuned for more exciting details and announcements about our online auction.
