Harvest for the Artists
Creative Mentorship Program
5th Anniversary Celebration & Donor Appreciation Party
Tuesday | November 29, 2016 | 6:30-8:30pm
HAMILTON HILL JEWELRY in Brightleaf Square
Many of you have seen the powerful influence that the Durham Art Guild's Creative Mentorship Program has on the lives of emerging artists and professional artists in our community. We would like to celebrate our shared successes with you and thank you as we approach the 5th Anniversary of this amazing program.
Come enjoy light refreshments, mingle with program alumni, meet our new program leaders, and hear about our hopes for the next five years of the program.
All attendees will be entered in a drawing for some fabulous Hamilton Hill jewelry courtesy of our event partners.
The Creative Mentorship Program empowers students to discover and develop their creative voices and artistic skills through 20 weeks of dedicated work with a professional artist at Golden Belt Artist Studios in Durham, involvement with the local arts community through monthly field trips and workshops, and a month-long exhibition in Golden Belt's Room 100 Gallery. The program is a collaborative partnership between Student U and the Durham Art Guild that began in 2013. For more information on the Creative Mentorship Program and our sponsorship levels click HERE.
